No, it is not necessary for one of our team members to visit you. We can schedule an online appointment to discuss your move and determine the volume of your belongings. We call this an “online survey”. You will be sent a link in advance for this online meeting with one of our colleagues. After an online tour of your home we will be able to make you an offer.

No, we do not handle domestic relocations.
We can organize storage for you at an external location that is specially designed for long term storage of household goods.

Yes, you can ship your car. Clearing a car is not always easy. Our team will discuss this with you.
Yes, you can do your own packing. We have flexible service packages for your international relocation. You can choose whichever option best suits your financial situation. We offer full service packages where we take care of everything, including the unpacking and assembly at your new home. If you wish to pack yourself, just mention this during intake.
The extension of the moving process depends on several factors:
– Departure of the container from the port
– Shipping time
– Customs clearance
– Unloading of the container

The term groupage shipments refers to international shipping of goods in shared containers. This is the most sustainable way of relocating your personal belongings overseas. Groupage allows for the most attractive prices. Windmill Forwarding has regular groupage shipments to the following countries:

Contact us if you are relocating to any other country. There is no place where Windmill Forwarding cannot ship household goods.
If you discover any damage after unpacking your belongings, please report to us as soon as possible. Do it by email and include relevant photo proof.
The claim will proceed in accordance with the insurance policy you have purchased. We always recommend an all-risk insurance.
